Burst of Flavour

In Beast and Max modes, the Max 3 briefly runs above its rated output at the start of every puff: 19W instead of 18W in Beast, and 25W instead of 23W in Max, for the first half second. That short boost heats the dual mesh coil faster, so flavour hits immediately instead of building up, then settles into a rich, steady taste for the rest of the draw. Eco and Normal modes run at a constant output.

The honest version: 60,000 puffs is a ceiling, not what most people will see. Mixing modes, or living in Beast and Max, will land well below the rating.

Smart display and battery

The smart display shows e-liquid remaining, battery level and the active mode, so you know whether a weaker draw means low battery or an empty tank. The 850mAh rechargeable battery will need several charges before the 20mL tank runs out, especially in the higher modes.
