The Geekvape Aegis Legend 5 is a 200W dual-18650 box mod built for durability — IP68 rated for water resistance (up to 1.5m for 30 minutes), dustproof, and shockproof. It ships as a complete starter kit with the Z Sub-Ohm Tank (5.5mL), two Z Series mesh coils, and the AS Chip 4.0 chipset with 0.01-second firing speed. This is not a pod kit — it's a full-power sub-ohm setup designed for direct-to-lung (DTL) vaping, big clouds, and rich flavour at high wattage. Available in 8 colours.

Built to Survive
The Aegis line has been the go-to rugged vape platform for years, and the Legend 5 continues that reputation. The IP68 rating means it's certified waterproof up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes, completely dustproof, and rated for shock resistance from drops up to 1.4 metres. The rubber/leather grip panels and zinc alloy chassis are designed for job sites, outdoor work, hiking, and generally rough daily use where a standard mod wouldn't survive.
The A-Lock is a physical slide switch on the side that locks the fire button and controls — no accidental pocket fires, no fumbling with 5-click sequences.
Vaping Modes
Smart Mode auto-detects your coil resistance and sets an appropriate wattage. Normal Mode gives you full manual wattage control. ECO Mode reduces output slightly to extend battery life — useful at moderate wattages where the difference is negligible. Custom Mode lets you save preset wattage configurations. TC Mode supports Ni200, Ti, and SS316 wires for temperature control builds.

Compatible E-Liquids
The Z Sub-Ohm Tank is designed for direct-to-lung (DTL) vaping with freebase e-liquid in the 3–6mg range. The sub-ohm mesh coils and wide-open airflow are built for high-VG blends (70/30 or higher) that produce dense clouds and rich flavour. Salt nicotine is not recommended — the low resistance and high wattage would deliver far too much nicotine per puff.

This is a sub-ohm kit for experienced vapers. If you're new to vaping or prefer a tighter, cigarette-style draw, a refillable pod kit like the Vaporesso XROS Pro 2, Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro, or OXVA Xlim Pro 3 is a better starting point. Those devices use salt nic, require no external batteries, and are designed for mouth-to-lung draws.

Are batteries included?

What coils does it use?
The Z Sub-Ohm Tank uses Geekvape Z Series coils (press-fit installation). The kit includes a 0.15Ω XM coil (70–85W) pre-installed and a 0.4Ω XM coil (50–60W) as a spare. Additional Z Series coils in various resistances are available in our Replacement Coils collection.
Is it really waterproof?
The mod itself is IP68 rated — certified waterproof up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes, dustproof, and shockproof. This applies to the mod body only, not the tank. It's designed to survive rain, splashes, drops, and dusty job sites — not for intentional submersion while vaping.
Can I use salt nic with this kit?
Not recommended. The Z Sub-Ohm Tank runs at high wattage with low-resistance mesh coils. Salt nicotine (typically 20mg+) would deliver far too much nicotine per puff at these power levels. Use freebase e-liquid in 3–6mg with this kit.

What's the A-Lock?
A physical slide switch on the side of the mod that locks the fire button and all controls. It prevents accidental firing in your pocket or bag — no need to click 5 times or navigate menus. Slide it, and the mod is locked.
Can I use other tanks on the mod?
Yes — the Aegis Legend 5 mod has a standard 510 connection and fits tanks up to 25mm in diameter. You can use any 510-threaded tank, RDA, or RTA.
